PanAroma Reincarnations
Description
PanAroma Reincarnations - The second part of the trilogy
PanAroma Reincarnations is the second album in Marcator's PanAroma trilogy and is dedicated to the musical past. In this work, Marcator brings his own compositions from earlier decades back to life - with modern arrangements and fresh sound colors. Some of the original compositions are over 40 years old.
In addition to newly interpreted songs, the album also contains instrumental versions of vocal songs from the last three albums. A particular highlight is the closing track “Nowthennow” - a session recording from the 1990s that was rediscovered during digital clean-up. The original line-up can no longer be reconstructed, but Marcator gave the track a new musical framework, making it the starting point for the revival of further archive material.
The sound of the album is characterized by guitars, calm and melodious. Marcator played most of the instruments himself. He was supported by musician friends who had already appeared on earlier productions:
Marco Podobnik (alto saxophone), Jürgen Breuninger (didgeridoo), Werner Johannsen (bass) and Nikolai Hotsch (drums).
The cover artwork was once again created by Jens Rusch. It is based on the original motif from the first album and was reinterpreted for Reincarnations with the help of artificial intelligence.
