Enigmatic Obsession

Enigmatic Obsession is Jens Gad's personal ambient echo, which he realized after his formative time as co-producer with Enigma. His debut album Secrets of Seduction (2005) transports listeners into a mysterious sound world of chill beats, mystical instrumentals, soft vocals and ethnic accents - carried by Gad's masterful production. Flowing transitions create a meditative sound cosmos that will make both fans of Enigma and lovers of atmospheric lounge music sit up and take notice.

20 years later, Enigmatic Obsession starts with a remix of the album on the Prudence label, which already has the productions "Achillea" and "Jens Gad presents" in its catalog. The 2025 album was again written, produced and mixed in Gad's own studio in Peru.

Stylistically, the project is based on atmospheric ambient, ethno and chill genres, strongly influenced by the Enigma aesthetic (Gregorian flair, spherical voices, subtle beats).
Characteristic are gentle arrangements with acoustic instruments such as flute, guitar, piano, filtered vocals - often in Spanish or classical singing -, typical elements of the Enigma world.
