Kupfer - Indie poets from Munich conquer the stages

The critically acclaimed Munich duo Kupfer combine German-language songs with a unique blend of profound messages, gripping piano passages and groovy, folky guitar riffs. The two musicians, Stefan Weyerer and Nick Flade, have established themselves as true indie heroes with their energetic and touching sound. About the musicians:

Stefan Weyerer and Nick Flade are no strangers to the music scene. Weyerer got to know Flade when the “Kapelle Weyerer” was on tour with singer and actress Jasmin Tabatabai. After the last “Kapelle Weyerer” record, Weyerer decided to start a new project - Kupfer was born. In addition to his work with Kupfer, he has composed award-winning film music, accompanied theater projects and produced albums by other artists.

Nick Flade, who became known as a live and session musician at the age of 17, is now a sought-after musician on international stages. He has played with greats such as Chaka Khan, Max Mutzke and Laith Al-Deen and also works as a producer and songwriter. No wonder that the two friends and musicians produce most of their albums themselves and play almost all the instruments themselves.
