New release
(I denk oft an) mei Muadda
A song about the past that still resonates today
Williams Wetsox – “(I think often of) my mother”
Williams Wetsox's new song is about his mother – a woman who had to flee East Prussia in 1944.
But the personal story quickly becomes a universal one: from the suffering of the displaced people back then to the refugees of today.
Recorded at Forest Sound Studio with Fabian Exter, Williams combines great emotion with a clear message in genuine dialect:
“Weida, imma weida – da Mensch is auf da Flucht.”
A piece of music with depth and heart.
