Sacco & Mancetti – Authentic Rock Since 1986

Founded in 1986 in Regensburg, Sacco & Mancetti have always stood for original songs, a distinctive sound, and pure joy of playing. From the very beginning, the band quickly built a loyal fan base that extended far beyond Eastern Bavaria.

Their big break came in 1990 when Thomas Gottschalk discovered the band, leading to their first LP released on Chrysalis Records, featuring the radio hit Rainbow’s End. Since 1994, Sacco & Mancetti have embraced independent labels, releasing more than ten albums to date.

On stage, the band delivers classic rock at its finest – energetic, authentic, and with an impressive live presence. For more than three decades, Sacco & Mancetti have continued to evolve without losing their roots: a sound deeply anchored in the romantic spirit of the ’60s and the rebellious guitars of the ’70s.

After several lineup changes, the band sounds more mature than ever, yet remains full of unrestrained energy and outstanding musicianship. Their recent TV appearances prove it once again: Sacco & Mancetti are a true live experience. Their latest album, Fat Fred’s Favourites, captures that feeling and sound – and their fans will love it.
