In cooperation with the city of Wesselburen (Germany), the birthplace of the poet and dramatist Friedrich Hebbel (1813-1863), Marcator created 14 compositions to selected Hebbel poetry. The music does not follow classical models (Brahms) but is kept in a modern style with many guitar sounds, synthesizers etc..
