While LustfingeR from Munich were still considered one of the leading German-language punk rock bands at the end of the 1980s, the Munich-based answer to the Toten Hosen has firmly established itself in the "alternative rock" genre over the course of the 1990s. The quintet around singer/guitarist Thomas Fock convinces on their last studio album "Zündstoff" from 2014 with an exciting mixture of power pop and guitar rock that doesn't need to fear comparison with Anglo-American models.
The fan community of LustfingeR is constantly growing. Hardly any other band in the musical field of tension between PUR and the ÄRZTEN has dealt so sensitively and melancholically with the topic "...when love breaks up" lately.
After so many releases it was time to release a "Best Of" album by LustfingeR, which is called "HITS" in short. And on the album with more than one hour playing time follows hit after hit, from the first meanwhile cult hit "Bundespräsident" to the Gessenhauer "Staatsanwalt", with which LustfingeR had their breakthrough at that time, also the official club anthem for the TSV 1860 Munich "Löwenmut" is not missing on this album.
