Repetition "Nachtgespenster" 3.2.21 at ZDF

"Watching the birds fly, I see you".  With these words the song "Song for you“ starts and tells of walks along white, snow-covered fjords, roaring waves and the wonder of the northern lights.
The director Thomas Roth ("Falco, verdammt wir leben noch", "Brand", "Trautmann", "Tatort - Wahre Lügen") and the composer Johannes Brandt ("Tatort - Die letzte Wiesn", "Honigfrauen", "Der Kommissar und das Meer")  together have written and produced the "Song for you" for the film "Nachtgespenster" from the series "Der Kommissar und das Meer". In the film the track appears at several important places and unfolds its full emotional impact when Silke, played by Amalia Holm ("Playground", "ALENA", "Saltrön") sings the song for the deceased day at his funeral.  Holm's intimate vocal performance immediately inspired Roth and Brandt. The three of them decided to produce the song completely and release it as a single. "Song for you" is a love ballad that drives the listener through the night with pulsating drums, but never loses its intimacy thanks to Holm's sensitive vocals and the gentle string passages.
