Roth's lyrics of a song writing itself by the power of love and sorrow captivated her. The Scandinavian actress was born in Oslo in 1995 to a German-Swedish mother and a Norwegian father. When her father past away the family moved to Sweden where she started practicing music at an early age. Through an extras website she got a part in the feature film The Hidden Child. This encouraged her to continue acting but with no creative tradition in her family she was not permitted to apply for drama school. After High school she got the titel role of Alena in the Swedish horror feature and one thing led to another. With “Song for you” Amalia does her first on-screen singing.
