New ZDF lawyer series with Julia Hartmann and "Tatort" star Kai Schumann. Under the working title "Vogtland", the broadcaster filmed between June and August 2023 at the Göltzschtal Bridge and the surrounding area.

The series is now called "Mandat für Mai" - and from March 14, 2024, "Mandat für Mai" can be seen in double episodes on three consecutive Thursdays and later in the media library.

The lead role of lawyer Maria "Mai" Gardner has been taken on by actress Julia Hartmann, who has mainly played crime thriller roles to date. She is known from "Tatort", the SOKO series and "Alarm für Cobra 11", among others. She was last seen in "Erzgebirgskrimi - Tödliche Abrechnung" (2022).
