About the artists:
Gleisberg

Six years after the successful release of Filmmusic by Rüdiger Gleisberg, six more years of experience in composing for the moving image are added. With a high degree of empathy for the emotions of the scenes, Rüdiger Gleisberg empathises with the film sequences and gives them a soul.

Filmmusic II begins with the collection Epic Cinema, great cinema for graceful, exciting and impressive film sequences. The orchestral symphonic splendour of the small works lends the picture greatness, drama and sublimity.
This is followed by small piano pieces, from romantic and dreamy to jazzy and music for film sequences from other parts of the world from Australia to India and the Orient.
On the second CD, pieces of music are sorted according to the "Sunny Side of Life" and the "Dark Side of Life", thus covering a wide range of genres, from comic lightness to criminological suspense.
Fantastic landscapes arise in the mind already while listening to the 10 landscapes that Gleisberg has conjured up in sound.
Filmmusic II is a colourful bouquet of emotional compositions, a fundus for every film maker.
