DIE ZWEiTE WELLE (The second wave) is a multi-perspective drama series with psychological thriller elements and has the tsunami disaster of 2004 as its point of departure and crystallization. In six episodes, the gripping story of a group of friends who are connected by a stroke of fate and a dark secret is told on two time levels. The film music was written and composed by Karim Sebastian Elias.
