About
"da Schorsch" is not unknown in the Munich blues scene, has made a good name for himself under the pseudonym "Big Brother George" as an authentic interpreter of the blues from Mississippi as played by Skip James and Mississippi John Hurt, for example, to the urban Chicago blues of Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon to the London style of a Peter Green or Mick Taylor.
After years of listening to the old records, he returned to his own songwriting qualities, as he had previously demonstrated with various formations (e.g. Gantenbein, Westend, Dr. Will's Medicine Men). However, he now wrote the lyrics the way his beak had grown in the Isar Delta: in Bavarian.
Soon the musicians - all from the musical circle of friends - were found, who had the desire to combine Blues, Rhythm & Blues and a pinch of Rock'n'Roll with the strong Bavarian idiom.
