Premiere at Amazon Prime
Instead of being shown in theaters, "Der Boandlkramer und die ewige Liebe" starring Hape Kerkeling and Michael Bully Herbig will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
The theatrical release had previously been postponed several times due to the Corona pandemic.
The film will be available to watch from May 14. But Bully is not giving up hope for a theatrical release either: "When it is possible to go to the cinema again, you will also be able to enjoy the film on the big screen" he promised. In his post, Bully also addressed the late director Joseph Vilsmaier (1939-2020) directly. "Der Boandlkramer und die ewige Liebe" was his last work. "My dear Joseph, I would feel better if we had made this decision together with you. Nevertheless, I think you would certainly have wanted your last film to be seen at last!" wrote Herbig.
In "Der Boandlkramer und die ewige Liebe," Herbig can be seen for the first time alongside Hape Kerkeling (56). In the comedy, the Boandlkramer (Herbig) falls in love with Gefi (Hannah Herzsprung, 39) and makes a deal with the devil (Kerkeling). According to Fred Kogel, head of Leonine Studios, cinema will not be left behind despite the launch on Amazon Prime Video. On the occasion of the second anniversary of Joseph Vilsmaier's death on February 11, 2022, an event cinema weekend and special screenings are to take place.
Now first on Amazon Prime and at the same time we release the soundtrack on 14.5.2021
