New release

4th single from the new album

In June, we’re finally moving on with the song-releases of our Kupfer album collection. This time with the remake of a song from Kapelle Weyerer, the former formation of Kupfer singer and guitarist Stefan Weyerer. “Wildes Herz 2” (“Wild heart 2”) is a song about adaptation and freedom. “The tamers dully sat on the couch – everything had been tamed in their world. Only well-behaved half hearts remained and countless domesticated, insipid songs”. Belonging and pleasing or staying different, half-heartedness or sincerity – seemingly irreconcilable contradictions in a world of functioning and adulthood. Here comes a song about the indomitable spark of rebellion in all of us, to help us be true to ourselves. Powerful slide-guitars and an unruly synth meet energetic drums contributed by the Munich based drummer Andy Lind. Pictures from photographer and filmmaker Sarah Schill accompany the artwork. Produced by Stefan Weyerer and mixed by Weyerer and Franz Erl in the studios “Grandezza” and “Highline”.
