About

Content: In 1938, the actually apolitical cabaret comedian Hans Zeisig (Michael Bully Herbig) suddenly falls out of favor because of an exaggerated Hitler parody and is forced to flee to Moscow. There he stays at the Hotel Lux, the legendary refuge of communist functionaries from all over the world. Due to a misunderstanding, he is mistaken for Adolf Hitler's personal astrologer, which even reaches Stalin. Stalin tries to poach him by force. Together with his former stage partner Siggi Meyer (Jürgen Vogel) and the Dutch underground fighter Frida (Thekla Reuten), who are also staying at the Lux, Hans tries to escape the machinations.
