     With "Lovely Night Creatures" we receive the second album of an artist, whose debut work "No Snailldance, please" had already surprised attentive observers and connoisseurs of the Electronica Music scene by the distintiveness of its style and the abundance of ideas in each track.
      The tracks on "Lovely Night Creatures" are no fast shots from the hip: The puzzling over the sounds, rhythms, breaks and progressions of a single track often occupies Zinkl for several weeks. Only this way could zappa-esque humour, irony and the very cunning use of dynamics become trade marks of the Zinkl-style.
