     Natives of Southern California, the Gordons both took an early interest in music. David played the piano, clarinet and flute while Steve learned the piano, guitar and drums. Both studied classical music at Los Angeles Valley College and UCLA. Their first album "Misty Forest Morning" saw its release on their own label, Sequoia Rcords, which now will be marketed and distributed by PRUDENCE in Europe.
      In 1994 they released "Sacred Earth Drums", the most successful album, which was the #1 selling album at most New Age distributors from 1994 through 1997. The album contains a contemporary native music which featured hand drums as the main instruments and also had strong melodic and emotional content as well as a cinematic spaciousness. The album is the topselling Native / Drumming title ever - #1 on New Age Retailer's Top 40 for over 2 years and over 200.000 sold and still in distributor's top 10, an instant classic and a must have!
