With
his 1997 debut album "Whales of Atlantis" German composer and Reiki-master
Ronald Hoth, who as a musician calls himself Ascher‡, had provided one
of the great surprise successes for PRUDENCE/AGES. His melodious and
exquisitely produced guitar instrumentals were so well received by audiences,
that even the labelŐs optimistic expectations were exceeded.
The music on the new album "Return of
the Angels" keeps all the qualities from the debut, but adds new kinds
of sounds and grooves, new exciting dimensions to the Aschera sound.
Wether Aschera draws his inspirations from the past or the present,
from the history of western pop or exotic traditions, he always succeeds
in molding them into impeccably crafted, beautifully sculpted modern
"Cosmopolitan-Music" arrangements.
