Important steps in the history of BSC:

1988:
The company was founded:
Introduction of first label "Prime Time", with Mark & Simons 12" single "Can't Walk Away" as first release

1989:
BSC sets up its second label "Prudence".
Release of the first album on Prudence:
Jolly Kunjappu – "Warm Embrace".
BSC signs important instrumental group Cusco to Prudence
Release of Cusco's album "Apurimac I"
BSC establishes the label "Focus"
First release on Focus: the debut album of German rock group Heinrich Beats The Drum
BSC establishes the label "Rotz + Wasser"
First release on Rotz+Wasser: "Gassenhauer" by German punk veterans LustfingeR

1990:
"Apurimac I" by Cusco is the first BSC product
selling more than 10 000 units

1991:
BSC sets up a label called "Fresh"

1992:
BSC establishes the label "Iron Ages"
First release on Iron Ages: "Light Of Lies"
by Swiss Hardrock group Stonefield

1993:
"Traumwelt" is set up as a label.
The CD compilation "Der Wahre Grand Prix 1993" is the first release on Traumwelt.
Blonker, undisputed master of the relaxed guitar instrumentals, signs up with Prudence

1994:
BSC establishes the label "Ages"
Christopher Dean's album "Magic Moments" is the first relase
on Ages
BSC participates in a German-British joint venture:
"R'n'D", a label focusing on British acts
First releases on R'n'D are "The Deep End" (a solo album of famous English musician/producer Rupert Hine) and "Missing Links" by English rock group The Fixx

1995:

Blonker's album "The Tree Of Life" is the first BSC album
to be released in the US through a licensing deal with
Higher Octave Music
"Dreaming Clouds", the first Prudence-label-compilation, is released

1996:
BSC starts an edition of German crime movie soundtracks, beginning with the works of Martin Böttcher
Former Spliff-guitarist Potsch Potschka and German New Instrumental group Ginkgo Garden sign up with BSC

1997:
"I.O.U." by Carry & Ron reaches double platinum in Korea
Leni Stern and Peter Mergener join the BSC artist rooster

1998:
Drum'n'Space and Jeff Greinke sign up with BSC

1999:
Through a cooperation with Random Records BSC now presents the whole back-catalogue of former Kraftwerk-member Michael Rother
"Sacred Earth Drums" by David & Steve Gordon is the first release from the catalogue of the American label Sequoia Records, which is now represented in Europe by BSC
American keyboardist Armen Chakmakian (of Shadowefax fame) is also now represented in Europe by BSC Agitation free join the BSC artist roost

2000:
Roedelius colaborate with Mexican singer and sonic innovator Alquimia on the album "Move & Resonate", Prudence signs Alquimia for her third solo-album.
Release of "Trance Alpin", a spectacular album by Austrians mastermind Delago, who invited 148 musicians for that album and the live-presentation in an Austrian cave.
"Sacred Spirit Drums" and "Drum Medicine" by David & Steve Gordon are released.
New signings: Nautlius (Solar Moon),
New compilations: Orientica, Mystic Fantasies Part II, Sweet Smoke

2001:
The Munich based quintet "Cat Sun Flower" sign up and release the album "Driving South, Staying There", which was recorded in Italy. Two new releases of Sequoia-Records: Zingaia's "Dancers Of Twilight" and Gary Stadler's "Fairy Heart Magic.
New signings: Golana, a native American with the multiple decoratet album "Walk Between Worlds". L.A. based Doucet & Miraz with their first collaboration "Resonance", Yulara's third album "Future Tribe, Cologne's "Opera To Relax" and their third album "From Life 2 Life" and first colaboration with Klaus Voormann(The Beatles / Revolver), who designed the cover, Germany's most talented guitarist and vocalist Christina Lux, the "Master of Wolkenreise" Eroc and Berlin based electronic musician Bernd Kistenmacher.
New compilations: Hidden Treasures, Electronicage, Mystic Celtic, Buddha Lounge

2002:
Anniversary releases: David & Steve Gordon – Sacred Drum Vision (20 years-collection)
Eiszeit, the 7th album by LustfingeR (20 years LustfingeR-jubilee) New signings: Egyptian singer Nasser Kilada, Althea W from The Netherlands and Reiki-master Shajan.

2003:
Guru Guru - Mastermind "Mani Neumeier" sign up and releases the album "Terra Amphibia€Deep In The Jungle".
Further new signings: Reikimaster "Ashron" releases his first album for Prudence "Reiki Mantras", German composer and musician Martin Scherl, mastermind of the formation "TYA" releases his second album and first album for Prudence "Akwaba".
New releases by Prudence-artists: "Alquimia - Angaelic Voices", "Christina Lux - Live ", "Cusco - Inner Journeys", "Mergener et Amici - Nox Mystica", "Shajan - Healing Touch", "Marcator & Mummert - Wattenklänge II" and "Peter Thomas Sound Orchestra - Majolika Lounge".

Prudence-event of the year: The Roman festival "Bread & Games" took place in Trier, Germany¹s oldest City. In the ancient "Kaiserthermen" Peter Mergener & friends (Mergener et Amici) created the "Mystical Nights², a sound installations in the illuminated underground labyrinth of the ancient bath.

2004:
New signings: Art Of Infinity with their second album "Dimension Universe", Urs Fuchs and his debut "Field Of Vision", Tau (Garden Of Tiki), Karmacosmic (Music For Reiki & Mantra) , Ulaim Az Zama Orchestra (Café Arabica) and Tyndall/Scholl (Dreamspheres).
New releases on Prudence: 3rd album by Nautilus (In Search Of Castaways), 6th album by Mergener (Lounge Control), 7th album by Zinkl (The Temptations Of St. Anthony), 2nd and 3rd albumy by Ashrin (Inner Peace - Music For Reiki & Meditation, Reiki Shaman), 2nd album by Althea W (Crystal Silence), 3rd Prudence album by Bernd Scholl (Circle of Trees - A Celtic Voyage), after ten years the second album by Joe Weineck (From Jungle To Galaxy)

And our first DVD saw its release in November 2004: Mergener et amici - Nox Mystica - live. This concert was recorded in august 2004 during the Roman festival "Brot & Spiele" in Trier, the oldest city of Germany". The DVD contains the 90 min. concert, a 14 minute walk through the Mystic Night, a special video clip of Mergener & Alquimia's new hymn "Rainbow In The Air" and three further chapters presenting pictures and music from the festival.
Our US-partner Sequoia released the albums Akwaba by TYA, The Healing Touch by Shajan and the compilations Buddha Lounge 3, World Groove Mix and Cafe de Luna 2. Buddha Lounge 3 entered the Billboard New Age-charts and went right to the No. 1 on the iTunes Music Store and remained there for over 2 straight weeks, spending the whole of July and August in the Top 10.
