Important steps in the history of BSC:

1988:
The company was founded:
Introduction of first label "Prime Time", with Mark & Simons 12" single "Can't Walk Away" as first release

1989:
BSC sets up its second label "Prudence".
Release of the first album on Prudence:
Jolly Kunjappu – "Warm Embrace".
BSC signs important instrumental group Cusco to Prudence
Release of Cusco's album "Apurimac I"
BSC establishes the label "Focus"
First release on Focus: the debut album of German rock group Heinrich Beats The Drum
BSC establishes the label "Rotz + Wasser"
First release on Rotz+Wasser: "Gassenhauer" by German punk veterans LustfingeR

1990:
"Apurimac I" by Cusco is the first BSC product
selling more than 10 000 units

1991:
BSC sets up a label called "Fresh"
First release on Fresh: "Poetry In Motion" by

1992:
BSC establishes the label "Iron Ages"
First release on Iron Ages: "Light Of Lies"
by Swiss Hardrock group Stonefield

1993:
"Traumwelt" is set up as a label.
The cd-compilation "Der Wahre Grand Prix 1993" is the first release on Traumwelt.
Blonker, undisputed master of the relaxed guitar instrumentals, signs up with Prudence

1994:
BSC establishes the label "Ages"
Christopher Deans album "Magic Moments" is the first relase
on Ages
BSC participates in a German-British joint venture:
"R'n'D", a label focusing on British acts
First releases on R'n'D are "The Deep End" (a solo album of famous English musician/producer Rupert Hine) and "Missing Links" by English rock group The Fixx

1995:

Blonker's album "The Tree Of Life" is the first BSC album
to be released in the US through a licensing deal with
Higher Octave Music
"Dreaming Clouds", the first Prudence-label-compilation, is released

1996:
BSC starts an edition of German crime movie soundtracks, beginning with the works of Martin Böttcher
Former Spliff-guitarist Potsch Potschka and German New Instrumental group Ginkgo Garden sign up with BSC

1997:
"I.O.U." by Carry & Ron reaches double platinum in Corea
Leni Stern and Peter Mergener join the BSC artist rooster

1998:
Drum'n'Space and Jeff Greinke sign up with BSC

1999:
Through a cooperation with Random Records BSC now presents the whole back-catalogue of former Kraftwerk-member Michael Rother
"Sacred Earth Drums" by David & Steve Gordon is the first release from the catalogue of the American label Sequoia Records, which is now represented in Europe by BSC
American keyboardist Armen Chakmakian (of Shadowefax fame) is also now represented in Europe by BSC Agitation free join the BSC artist roost
