Cornamusa, the winners of the “Köstritzer Live Award 2007”, present their third album “GET ON THE TRAIN” with influences of modern rock music and beamy arrangements, paired with some humorous accents. The twofold lead melody with the new band member Frank works excellent, guitars and drums sound pretty raw and heavy. The numerous experiences in songwriting during the last few years benefit the album audible. The five band members collaborated pretty well in composing and arranging this CD. The selection of the songs is diversified -as Cornamusa is known for- and leaves nothing to be desired. The favorite song for a radio extraction “MY WAY TO SAY I’M SORRY” just like “RISE UP” were recorded and mixed at “Danzmusik Studio Berlin”. “VERY JOINING DREAM” , “SOMEDAY” and “HEY BOY” tell in a funny manner of the man who tries to carry his dreams of a better life into effect. “I’M NOT BAD”, “TROUBLE”, “EVIL SONG” and “PRINCESS OF THE NIGHT” express the eternal struggling of faith and reality. “RISE UP”, “HERE WE ARE”, “THE GAME” as well as “FINAL FIGHT” advance the inner power of everyone who wants to achieve something. The ballad “SEIZE THE DAY” -composed in classic rock style- tops off the album at the highest stage and tickles the ear canals in a specific way. The powerful live performance of Cornamusa fascinates the audience each time anew and makes every visit of a concert of these guys an unforgettable musical adventure. Enjoy yourself!
