The story of Bernd Kistenmacher is the story of a passionate composer of electronic music, who pursued his dreams and artistic visions against all odds. Kistenmacher, who just turned forty, cites legendary Pink Floyd classics "Meddle" and "Echoes" and the electronic music milestone "Moondawn" by Klaus Schulze as musical key experiences. At the age of twentytwo he unsuccessfully tried to build himself his first synthesizer, only four years later he released his first soloalbum "Headvisions" and was voted "Newcomer of the Year" by the listeners of .the influential German radio programme "Schwingungen". Today Kistenmacher has more than 20 solo albums under his belly. He has contributed soundtrack works for important tv-programmes and performed on international electronic music festivals. An ill-fated intermezzo as founder of an own electronic music label named Musique Intemporelle couldn‘t stop Kistenmacher from becoming a well respected composer and musician amongst electronic music lovers all over Europe.
