Important steps along the way:
My first contact with an oboe, my first contact with a computer.
The first times I read about moog and I heard the fairlight on a record.
Very important was my work for german television (Sendung mit der Maus) where I could use my "noisy" fx-soul in combination with my music.
Musical influences:
J.S.Bach (daily), Herbie Hancock (funky feeling) , George Duke (best synthi-player ever)
ECM stuff in the Seventies and the Eighties, Miles Davis, Shakti, Oregon, Steve Roach (atmosphere), Deep Purple and some high speed metal/crossover bands (intensity)
ethnic sounds from albania (duduk), bulgary, china, japan, middle east, special : egypt.
Hobbies:
computer graphics and 3d, swimming
Personal motto for life:
I'm searching...
