He virtually is always on the go in his element - music. Rick Smitt, singer, composer and owner of a sound studio, who already knew at the age of 10 years, where his life was going to lead. different band-projects brought him up on stage together with e.g. Wolf Maahn, Fury In The Slaughterhouse, H-Blockx or Manfred Mann's Earth Band. As a member of the jury for different band-contests he is much in demand as well as in the position as the holder of the SMITTRECORDS studio. Various tours with his band actually brought him around Germany more than once. With "Red" Rick Smitt presents a wonderfully album, that proves his talent for brilliant songwriting. The multi-instrumentalist found a way to let his music sound very international and he could easily compete with any act from the US.
